• Payroll & Benefits Coordination
• Support payroll preparation and reconciliation processes
• Validate hours, deductions, and benefits data before payroll processing
• Assist employees with benefits-related questions
• Coordinate open enrollment and benefits administration activities
• Work closely with finance/payroll teams to ensure accuracy
• Policy, Compliance & HR Operations
• Maintain HR policies, SOPs, and employee documentation
• Ensure compliance with: FMLA
• FLSA
• ADA
• EEOC and multi-state labor laws
• Maintain audit-ready HR records and documentation
• Assist with HR process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
• Employee Support & Relations
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and concerns
• Support engagement initiatives and performance management workflows
• Escalate sensitive matters appropriately to HR leadership
• Coordinate training sessions and compliance certifications
• ✅ Required Experience & Skills
• 2+ years of HR support, HR operations, or people operations experience
• Experience using HRIS platforms such as: BambooHR
• ADP
• Gusto
• Zenefits or similar systems
• Familiarity with U.S. labor law compliance
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Proficiency with: Google Workspace
• Microsoft Office spreadsheets and HR reporting tools
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

• SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR certification
• Experience with: multi-state payroll, international HR support, or startup environments
• HRIS implementation or process improvement experience
