Customer Success Manager for Law Firms and Medical Practices

Matador Solutions is a performance-based marketing agency that helps small and medium businesses grow. We serve more than 175 law firms and a growing number of healthcare practices. Our team contractors and employees is roughly 50+ individuals globally, and we are based out of Los Angeles. Our focus is SEO search and, now, AI search. The role

Your north star is retention. You will own a portfolio of clients (mostly lawyers with some doctors), and your job is to keep them happy and winning. That means running great client calls, learning to read their performance and lead data, and always hunting for the next opportunity, whether that is a smart upsell or a new way to help their business grow.

You will also help shape how we work. We want someone who brings ideas to the table, not just someone who executes them, and who is excited to help us build AI into our internal systems and make the whole team faster and sharper. Internally, this position is formally titled Co-op Project Manager, though you will work with clients and represent the role as a Customer Success Manager.

In a typical week you will:

Run client calls and keep communication clear, confident, and proactive.

Learn to read lead and performance data, and turn it into recommendations clients can act on.

Catch retention risks early and spot upsell opportunities often.

Work with our internal teams so client work ships on time and on strategy.

Bring ideas, ask good questions, and help us build better systems, including with AI.

Requirements

• Well let's start with relevant experience. If you don't have any relevant digital marketing (SEO or AI search) experience, it's probably not worth applying. Once in a while we'll go out on a limb and hire someone outside of the field, but you'll need to tell us why! Beyond relevant experience, here's what we need:

• Salary of $75,000 to $95,000 USD in the US, or $73,500 to $93,000 CA in Canada
