How you'll make impact

You’ll help expand Airwallex’s presence in the US SME market by serving ecommerce, SaaS, professional services, and other technology-enabled businesses across the US. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, close, onboarding, and early customer success, translating complex financial technology into clear business value for customers.

Build deep expertise across payments acceptance, cross-border payments, billing, and spend management to help SME and Growth customers solve complex financial challenges.

Drive revenue growth by positioning Airwallex’s financial technology suite around clear customer and business value.

Partner with legal, finance, strategy, and technology partners to move opportunities forward and support strong customer outcomes.

Improve the sales motion by developing new verticals, documenting best practices, representing Airwallex at relevant industry events, and setting a high standard through strong performance and teamwork.

This remote role is open to candidates in the Eastern Time Zone, excluding the New York City Metro Area.

What we're looking for

• Essentials
• At least 2 years of full-cycle fintech sales experience or proven success selling into finance departments.
• A track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical or solution-based selling environment.
• Experience selling to one or more of the following: ecommerce, SaaS or subscription businesses, spend management or finance teams, or other technology-enabled or professional services businesses.
• A consistent track record of pipeline generation and outbound prospecting.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and sales enablement tools.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred
• Experience in or strong exposure to the fintech ecosystem, such as payments, FX, or related financial infrastructure.
• A deep understanding of the common challenges faced by SME and Growth companies operating or expanding internationally.
• A customer-focused, consultative approach to sales.
• The ability to engage in high-level partnership and commercial strategy discussions.
• A solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and a “Figure It Out” mentality.
• The ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Self-motivation and a strong sense of accountability for achieving key performance indicators.
• A track record of contributing to new product launches, new vertical plays, or market expansions.
