How we work

We’re a team that values diversity in all its forms and loves adding new perspectives. We ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions, and build with empathy, for customers and for each other. We care about craft, we love feedback, and we take ownership. We also embrace humor (yes, the puns are real), because doing serious work doesn’t have to feel so serious.

Our workforce is fully remote, and your personal working hours can be based on your own timezone. All team-wide meetings are scheduled to be inclusive of all North American time zones.

Who We're Looking For: At Ethena, we’re an AI platform that’s revolutionizing the Compliance space. Our product and engineering teams ship fast— really fast. Build cycles are shrinking, product offerings are expanding, and our roadmap evolves to meet the needs of a changing workplace.

That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to serve as the vital bridge between our Product team and the rest of the world. Reporting directly to our VP, Marketing

, you will be the chief storyteller, positioning strategist, and launch maestro for everything we build. Our buyers are compliance, HR, and legal leaders. They’re smart and busy, and they’re not technical. Your job is to turn what we build into a story they get in seconds.

You aren't just here to manage project boards or oversee strategy from a distance—you’re a hands-on builder who gets excited about translating complex product features into simple, buyer-first, value-driven narratives, crisp pricing strategies, and customer-facing launch campaigns.

What You'll Do: 1. Own Positioning, Messaging & Packaging

• Define the ICP & Value Props: Deeply understand our buyer personas across our product lines, shaping how we articulate our value to prospects and existing clients alike. That means knowing what keeps a compliance leader up at night, how they describe their own problems, and how much technical detail they actually want (usually less than you’d think).
• Master Pricing & Packaging: Partner with leadership to evaluate and optimize pricing models and product tiers as our platform grows.
• Tell the "Why": Go beyond the "what" and "when" of releases. You will articulate why we built a feature, how it solves real customer pain points, and why it matters in the market. Every story starts with the buyer’s problem, how they work today, and the outcome they get before it gets to how the feature works.
• 2. Embed Deeply with Product
• Be in the Room: Pull up a chair to Product team meetings and rituals. You’ll be the voice of GTM within Product and the voice of Product within Marketing and the broader Commercial team.
• Decode the Roadmap: Proactively dig into upcoming features, unearthing the underlying strategy so you can build impactful launch plans well before code hits production. Then translate it into concise, easy-to-understand language for buyers and internal teams who’ll never read a technical spec.
• 3. Drive Launches & Hands-On Execution
• End-to-End Launch Ownership: Lead launch orchestration across Product, Marketing, Sales, CS, and Support so internal teams and external customers are aligned and hyped.
• Create the Artifacts: Roll up your sleeves to create pitch decks, one-sheets, product web pages, explainer videos, and outbound messaging templates. Leverage AI tools or do a bit of "vibe coding" to prototype web pages, interactive tools, or automated workflows on the fly. Every asset leads with the problem and the value, keeps technical detail at the buyer’s level, and looks and sounds polished: good lighting, clean audio, tight edits.
• Enable the Commercial Team: Run enablement sessions, record Loom walkthroughs, and write Slack launch updates that Sales and CS can absorb in two minutes and repeat to a customer with confidence.
• Customer-Facing Engagement: Host product webinars, showcase new features directly to clients, and collaborate closely with our Customer Marketing Manager (CMM) on post-sale expansion strategies. You will often be on camera. On client calls, all-hands, and enablement sessions, you’re concise, confident, and easy to follow.

What you'll bring: Exceptional, Concise Communicator:

• You get to the point. Whether it’s a five-minute Loom, a Slack update, a live webinar, or an answer to a tough question, you’re clear, structured, and brief. You read your audience and pitch the message at their level.
• Experience Marketing to Non-Technical Buyers: You’ve marketed to business buyers (compliance, HR, legal, finance, or similar) who need you to bring the story up to their level. If most of your background is with technical buyers like IT, security, or developers, show us how you’ve adapted for a non-technical audience.
• Proven SaaS Product Marketing Background: You’ve taken complex B2B SaaS products and features to market successfully at the Senior or Lead level by making them simple for the people buying them.
• Proactive Translator & Embedded Collaborator: You don't wait for product notes to land in your inbox. You seek out engineering and product leads, ask the right questions, and synthesize complex technology into clear, human copy that a non-technical buyer gets on the first read.
• AI-Forward Mindset & 'Vibe Coding' Aptitude: You natively incorporate AI into your workflow to scale your speed and output. Whether it’s using AI for messaging variations, building automation workflows, or 'vibe coding' quick landing page prototypes, mini-apps, or interactive assets, you love experimenting with technology to get things done faster.
• Scrappy, High-Velocity Execution: You thrive in fast-paced, high-build environments where roadmaps shift rapidly. Ambiguity doesn't freeze you; it excites you.
• Player-Coach Mentality: You love high-level strategy, but you’re just as eager to write the email copy, film a video walkthrough, or rewrite a product page on the website.
• Strong Cross-Functional Polish: You seamlessly align Sales, Support, CS, and Marketing, ensuring everyone speaks the same language at launch.
• Sense of Humor & Curiosity: Startup life moves fast, and we take our work seriously, but not ourselves. A great sense of humor is a must.
• At Ethena, we're committed to fair and equitable compensation. We carefully evaluate each candidate's skills and qualifications to provide our best possible offer upfront.
• Our no-negotiation policy ensures that our first offer is always our best offer
• , promoting pay equity throughout our organization.
• Physical Demands
• This is sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing in a home office environment.
• Location
• Ethena is a remote-first organization and is currently hiring candidates based in the United States.
• We are not currently offering employer visa sponsorship for this role.
• AI Usage in Interviews: We’re big fans of AI and use it heavily in our day-to-day work. That said, to ensure fairness and accurate skill assessment, we do not allow the use of AI tools (including note takers, transcription tools, or recordings) during interviews. If you have questions or need accommodations, we’re happy to chat — just let us know.
