We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), caregivers, personal care aides, nurse aides, and others with caregiving experience, including individuals who have cared for a family member. In this rewarding role, you will support individuals with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live more independent and fulfilling lives.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently hiring

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized, one-on-one support in community settings. Our caregivers play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through compassionate, person-centered care.

Opportunities available in:

Hilo, Keaau, Mountain View, Pepeekeo, Ocean View, Hawi, Kealakekua, and surrounding areas.

: Part-Time (Weekday and Weekend Availability)

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.

Participate in community integration, leisure activities, errands, and having fun.

Patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow.

Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from our clinical managers.

Provide personal care assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

• One year experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Ability to transport clients to community activities
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to read and write in English
