What You'll Be Doing

• As a Deskside Support Specialist, you'll serve as a trusted technical resource for end users, providing responsive support and helping ensure uninterrupted IT operations.
• Your responsibilities will include: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals, and software applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Deliver hands-on technical assistance to users in a fast-paced, mission-focused watch floor environment.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, virtual clients, and other end-user devices.
• Collaborate with network engineers, systems administrators, and application support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Diagnose technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Manage and document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions using an enterprise IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.
• Support incident management, request fulfillment, and end-user device lifecycle activities.
• Perform fault isolation and diagnostic procedures to restore service efficiently.
• Contribute to technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base improvements.
• Support mission operations during contingency or Real World events, including schedule adjustments when required.

What We're Looking For

• Required Qualifications
• At least
• 2 years of Service Desk, Help Desk, or related technical support experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification
• , such as CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, desktop hardware, printers, and network connectivity issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and work collaboratively with other IT teams.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• ITIL Foundation v3 or higher certification.
• Experience with BMC Remedy or a comparable enterprise ITSM platform.
• Work Schedule

This position typically follows a Monday–Friday schedule, working eight hours per day. During Real World mission events or operational contingencies, schedules and duty hours may be adjusted to meet mission requirements.
