Manager, Business Development - Green Chef

Green Chef is the #1 Meal Kit for Eating Clean—and we have ambitious plans to grow. We're looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to build and scale a high-impact partnerships portfolio that drives brand growth, strengthens our premium positioning, and generates revenue.

In this role, you'll own the full spectrum of partnerships for Green Chef: brand collaborations, influencer programs, joint promotional campaigns with like-minded brands, and revenue-generating initiatives ranging from in-box sampling to health & wellness ecosystem partnerships including health companies & professionals who actively recommend premium nutrition solutions to their patients.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong commercial instincts, a passion for brand-building, and the ability to close deals and execute end-to-end.

The role reports to the Marketing Director of Green Chef and involves close cross-functional collaboration with Marketing Channel Leads, Analytics, Brand Creative, Legal, and Product Marketing. Your work will directly impact customer acquisition, brand visibility, premium positioning, and revenue for HelloFresh's most premium meal kit offering.

You will …

• Own Green Chef's partnerships strategy end-to-end - identifying, pitching, closing, and scaling brand partnerships, influencer programs, joint promotions, and revenue-generating collaborations that accelerate growth
• Build and manage an influencer program spanning paid partnerships, gifting, and ambassador relationships that authentically extend Green Chef's reach among health-conscious, premium audiences
• Develop revenue-generating partnerships - including in-box sampling, co-marketing campaigns, and paid placements with aligned brands -- managing pipeline from prospecting through contract and campaign execution
• Cultivate health & wellness ecosystem partnerships with concierge health companies, RDs, functional medicine practitioners, and other medical professionals who recommend premium nutrition solutions to their patients
• Identify and pitch co-promotional opportunities with external brands that share Green Chef's premium, health-forward positioning to drive awareness, trial, and new customer acquisition
• Manage external partners and internal collaborators to deliver high-impact campaigns from concept through execution and optimization
• Develop, brief, and review creative assets and messaging, ensuring alignment with brand and performance goals across all partnership activations
• Track KPI performance across initiatives - revenue, new customer acquisition, brand lift—using data and insights to guide strategy and optimizations
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging partnership models to fuel innovation and differentiation
• You are…
• Proven closer: track record of independently identifying, pitching, and executing partnerships that delivered measurable commercial results
• Influencer-fluent: hands-on experience building and managing influencer programs across tiers (nano through macro), with an understanding of what drives authentic, scalable content and performance
• Entrepreneurial: resourceful, self-directed, and energized by building from scratch—comfortable with ambiguity and quick to move from idea to execution
• Commercially sharp: you think in business cases, not just activations; you can model revenue potential and present a clear ROI rationale to internal stakeholders
• Exceptional communicator: you can autonomously prepare pitches and proposals for external partners and internal leadership alike
• Data-driven: you track and analyze partnership performance and use insights to optimize your portfolio continuously
• Collaborative: you thrive in a cross-functional environment and can drive alignment across Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Creative
• Results-oriented: you focus on outcomes—revenue generated, customers acquired, brand equity built
• Adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced environments and stay flexible in the face of changing priorities, consistently delivering under pressure.

You have…

• 4+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, influencer marketing, or growth marketing, preferably at a premium consumer brand or agency with a focus on D2C/eCommerce/subscription
• You’ll get…
• Competitive salary, 401k with company match that vests immediately upon participation
• Generous PTO, including sabbatical, and parental leave of up to 16 weeks
• Comprehensive health and wellness benefits with options at $0 monthly, effective first day of employment
• Tuition reimbursement for continuing education (upon 2 years of service)
• Up to 85% discount on subscriptions to HelloFresh meal plans (HelloFresh, Green Chef, Everyplate, and Factor_)
• Access to Employee Resource Groups that are open to all employees, including those pertaining to BIPOC, women, veterans, parents, and LGBTQ+
• Inclusive, collaborative, and dynamic work environment within a fast-paced, mission-driven company that is disrupting the traditional food supply chain
