From Numeric's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
Why Numeric
Every business runs on accounting, but the systems underneath it were built for a different era.
Today’s ERPs don’t store a company’s financial data. They store a diluted copy of it. Every contract, lease, and invoice gets flattened into a journal entry, and the context that made it meaningful is thrown away. That’s why accounting teams spend every month re-checking numbers, stitching together spreadsheets, and waiting on engineering, and why AI struggles to do real accounting work.
Accounting doesn’t have a reporting problem. It has a data problem.
Enter Numeric: the data platform finance teams run on.
We started with the month-end close, where the data problem hurts most, and hundreds of finance teams now run their close on Numeric. That work led us to rebuild the system of record itself. In September 2026 we launched the Financial Data Platform (FDP)
, a platform built for the agent era. Instead of a journal entry, the real business object enters the system and the accounting is derived from it. Every number is traceable to its source, reporting works on any dimension, and accountants and AI agents finally have enough context to work together. While others bolted AI features onto the old data model, we built a new one.
We have a growing base of customers who love our product, including Anthropic, Plaid, Brex, Betterment, Wealthfront, and Asana. We’ve raised $89M from top-tier investors including IVP, Menlo Ventures, Founders Fund, and 8VC, along with founders and executives from Ramp, Segment, and other category-defining companies. We’re hybrid but in-office first, with teams in New York, San Francisco, and London, and we just shipped the product that will define our next decade.
There’s never been a better time to join.
Do you love the moment a customer's close runs on the system you set up?
Ever wish you could re-architect a messy close process instead of just surviving it every month?
Do you measure an implementation by whether the customer is actually living in the product, not by whether the kickoff deck got delivered?
If any of that resonates, this role is for you. As an Implementations Manager, you'll own new customer implementations end to end: running the kickoff, building the milestone plan, doing the technical configuration and integration work, training the customer's team, and driving to a go-live where the customer is genuinely closing in Numeric. Implementation is where customers decide whether Numeric is a tool or their system of record. You own that first impression.
This is the ops-and-process pillar of our post-sales team: structured, technical, project-driven work with real customer relationships built through the most intensive weeks of their Numeric journey.
You'll be joining a team of reformed accountants, alumni of EY, PwC, KPMG, and Deloitte, plus in-house teams at companies like Brex, Meta, and WHOOP, who decided building the future of the close beat running one. We're also one of the most AI-forward post-sales teams in SaaS: we build our own AI agents and internal tooling rather than waiting for someone to build it for us.
Your implementations go live fast, and "live" means the customer is actually closing in Numeric
Customers arrive in CS adopted and healthy, and churn doesn't trace back to a rushed implementation
The hardest projects (NetSuite-heavy, multi-entity, Cash) land with you and land well
Your onboardings generate the "best onboarding we've ever had" feedback that turns new customers into references
Your playbooks, templates, and AI-assisted workflows measurably compress implementation timelines across the team
How We Work
This role is hybrid in San Francisco or New York
(hybrid but in-office first, with flexibility to manage your schedule as you see fit).
We strongly believe we will only be successful if everyone on the team is anchored in our following set of core principles:
To win, our team needs to show up and execute in each domain every day.
We focus on the craft and a deep sense of giving a f*ck. We're building a company full of people who are equally engaged and motivated.
We refuse to accept "Same As Last Year." For too long, accounting and finance systems have reflected outdated processes instead of reimagining what's possible. We're driven by a first-principles approach to building better solutions.
We own our results. We typically hire builders and give them large mandates with high-trust. You're responsible for customer outcomes, not just task completion.
We're impatient to deliver results. We relentlessly iterate, measure, and improve. Every day is an opportunity to beat our prior best, raising the bar for the value we deliver to customers.
