Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Learning Disabilities team, based in Manchester Council. This is a locum role offering £30 per hour.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
Undertake strength‑based assessments including Care Act assessments, reviews, and Mental Capacity Act assessments for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring needs, risks, and desired outcomes are clearly identified
- Develop and coordinate personalised care and support plans, commission services, and manage a varied caseload to promote independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals including health services, providers, families, and safeguarding partners
- Complete safeguarding enquiries and manage risks effectively while promoting the rights and safety of adults with learning disabilities
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure all work is in line with statutory requirements and best practice
Qualifications & Experience:
- To be successful in this role you must have: Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
