As a rapidly growing startup, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Sales Director to join our team and spearhead our sales efforts.
Position Overview
The Tech Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales strategy, focusing on landing high-value clients, particularly within the startup ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team, developing and executing sales plans, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-ticket sales within the tech industry and experience working with or selling to startup companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
- Identify and target high-value clients, particularly within the startup sector.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Business Development
- Explore new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market reach.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote edYOU Technologies.
- Leverage market insights and customer feedback to drive product innovation and improvement.
- Sales Operations
- Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track performance and optimize sales processes.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to the executive team.
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the tech industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in high-ticket sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience working in or selling to startup companies is highly desirable.
- Skills
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
