Social Media Manager

About Ajaia:

Ajaia is a fast-growing AI consultancy and product studio that helps organizations move from experimentation to real results. We work across AI Strategy, AI Engineering and Automation, Workforce Enablement, and Custom Product Development, and we build our own AI products alongside client work.

Our mission is to help organizations win the AI moment.

About the Role:

You will own content execution across social media, short- and long-form video, podcast workflows, training content, and visual design.

You own the calendar, the output, and the numbers. You will write platform-native content for LinkedIn, X, and email, design the visual assets that bring campaigns to life, and edit video people actually finish watching.

This is a hands-on Social Media/Design role. You will create your own graphics, carousels, and campaign visuals rather than handing written concepts off to a separate design team.

This role is AI-forward by design. You will use AI daily for ideation, scripting, editing, design, repurposing, and QA. We expect you to already work this way and know how to turn AI-generated output into polished, human-quality content.

What You Will Do

• Own social content operations from planning and creation through publishing and performance reporting
• Write platform-native content for LinkedIn, X, and email newsletters
• Design original graphics, carousels, and visual assets for social posts and marketing campaigns across Ajaia and its product brands
• Turn reports, client work, product updates, and company insights into engaging multi-channel content
• Edit short- and long-form video for marketing, thought leadership, and social distribution
• Run podcast post-production, clips, and distribution
• Produce and edit training and educational video for internal and client-facing use
• Build reusable AI-assisted workflows for ideation, scripting, design, editing, and content repurposing
• Track content performance and use the results to improve future campaigns
• Hold the line on brand voice, visual quality, and consistency across every output

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in social content, content marketing, design, video editing, or multi-channel content management
• Demonstrated ownership of content calendars, publishing workflows, and deadlines
• Strong writing for LinkedIn, X, and email newsletter formats
• Demonstrated ability to create original social graphics, carousels, and campaign visuals
• Experience editing short- and long-form video, including training or educational content
• Strong visual judgment and an understanding of what makes social content engaging
• Evidence of AI-native execution in daily content work
• Strong written communication and async habits on a remote team
• Ability to manage multiple content formats and priorities independently
• Portfolio Required: Applications without samples will not be reviewed.
• Please include examples covering: LinkedIn or social media content
• X content
• Email/newsletter content
• Original graphics or carousel designs
• Short-form and long-form video editing
• Your portfolio should demonstrate both content execution and visual design ability.
• Schedule: Fully remote, with required overlap from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
• Technical Requirements: Wired internet: 100 Mbps minimum
• Computer: Intel Core i7, Ryzen 7, or Apple Silicon
• Memory: 16GB RAM minimum
• Storage: 256GB free storage
• Operating system: Windows 11 or current macOS
• 1080p webcam and microphone
• Backup power and internet
• Hiring Process: Application and portfolio review → two-hour practical assessment → hiring manager interview → final conversation with leadership.
• The practical assessment includes both content creation and a short design task so we can evaluate writing, visual execution, and your ability to turn an idea into publishable content.

Why join Ajaia

You will own a broad content function spanning social, video, podcast, and training, not one narrow slice of it. You will build thought leadership at a company doing AI implementation work that reaches production, and design scalable content systems rather than grinding out one-off assets.

Let's build what's next.
