National Account Manager

Location: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)  |  Compensation: $120,000 base + uncapped commission (Total Earnings Potential $300,000–$800,000+)  |  Relocation assistance available

Who You Are:

The National Account Manager is an individual contributor for new business development and customer relationship management. You will drive profitable revenue growth through new business development, strategic account management, and executive-level relationship building. This is a consultative sales role for a proven hunter and closer — someone who thrives on building trust with C-suite decision makers, in addition to managing existing relationships.

You'll own the full sales cycle, from first conversation to signed contract, targeting large companies across the U.S. and Canada.

This role is best suited to someone who:

• Has a track record of top income and performance in a previous consultative sales role
• Can strategically persist through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles without losing momentum
• Brings the confidence, poise, and polish to earn credibility within the first few minutes of a conversation with a prospect
• Is intensely goal-driven, self-motivated, and takes pride in being a top performer
• Thinks strategically while executing tactically, and stays coachable while continuously improving
• Is based in, or willing to relocate to, Orange County, CA (relocation support provided)

What You Will Do:

• Identify and target high-potential prospects at companies with annual revenues exceeding $400 million in the U.S. and $1 billion in Canada
• Execute proactive prospecting and cold-calling strategies to start meaningful conversations with key decision makers
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with C-suite executives, becoming a trusted advisor rather than a transactional salesperson
• Grow existing client relationships to generate additional business and referrals
• Consistently meet and exceed sales targets while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, consistently uncovering new opportunities for growth
• Use a consultative approach to understand each client's needs and align PRP's solutions with their strategic goals
• Secure meetings and maintain active engagement to keep the sales process moving toward a successful close
• Own the full sales cycle — from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing
• Partner with internal teams to tailor proposals and deliver compelling value proposition
• Lead high-value discovery meetings that uncover business challenges and strategic priorities
• Develop referral and executive networks that support long-term account growth
• Lead complex negotiations and close larger, multi-stakeholder opportunities
• Serve as a recognized sales leader within the organization, delivering predictable, repeatable revenue growth year over year

What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years of successful B2B consultative sales experience, with a track record of selling to large companies
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with CFOs, CEOs, Presidents, and other senior executives
• Demonstrated success independently sourcing, negotiating, and closing large, complex, high-value deals with C-suite decision makers
• Experience using CRM systems and sales tools to manage leads, opportunities, and reporting
• Strong grasp of consultative selling techniques and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated success in prospecting and cold calling, with consistent results
• Relentless drive to hit goals, with a positive attitude when working through obstacles
• A genuine interest in building long-term business relationships, not just closing transactions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value to executive audiences
• Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory
