Schedule| Sun – Thurs, 8:45pm – 5:15am, OT required
What You Will Do:
- Prepare components for painting and powder coating, including racking parts, loading the line, and applying masking or plugs as required.
- Apply paint and powder coatings according to established product specifications and quality requirements.
- Set and adjust paint/powder equipment for proper tolerances, color, and feed rate.
- Unload completed parts, racks, and hooks while visually inspecting finished components for quality.
- Identify coating or process issues and make appropriate adjustments within established procedures.
- Maintain your work area, including preparation, cleanup, and quality assurance of completed work.
- Support continuous improvement, preventative maintenance, safety initiatives, cost reduction, and on-time, error-free production.
- Meet established work schedules and overtime requirements, including weekends as needed.
What You Need:
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience setting or adjusting paint/powder equipment and visually inspecting finished components.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to maneuver and lift materials above the head.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to spend the majority of the shift standing and walking.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, sit, or stand as needed to perform job responsibilities.
