Full Time Infant Nanny – San Mateo, CA
A welcoming family in San Mateo is seeking an engaging, nurturing full-time nanny to care for their infant and support their daily routines in a smoke-free home with no pets.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours per week)
Family Specifications:
- Smoke-free home
- Pet-free household
- Household interests include cooking, games, and gardening
- A warm, collaborative environment focused on infant development and care
Responsibilities:
- Planning and preparing age-appropriate meals/bottles and feeding the infant
- Providing personal care, including diapering, bathing, and dressing
- Supporting developmental milestones through interactive play, reading, and tummy time
- Arranging and supervising outings, stroller walks, and playdates
- Providing safe transportation to and from activities outside the home
- Managing light housekeeping related to the infant, including baby laundry, bottle washing/sanitizing, and keeping nursery and play areas tidy
Requirements:
- Relevant infant caregiving experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a reliable personal vehicle for transportation
- English proficiency and ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese to support the family's language communication needs
- Preferred: 5+ years of infant care experience, with a background of successfully working with multiple families
- Cantonese language proficiency in addition to Mandarin
Compensation
Compensation:
$35-$40 per hour
