Driving revenue growth, market penetration, and customer retention across commercial verticals such as hotels, apartments, resorts, and airlines requires targeted strategy and cross-functional execution. This position solves the challenge of optimizing market performance by leading pricing strategies, programming packages, and strategic partnerships on a national scale. By bridging business strategy with technical requirements, the role ensures commercial product offerings meet evolving industry demands and partner expectations.
Through financial rigor and data-driven management, this function overcomes competitive pressure to maximize activation and long-term customer loyalty.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
Serve as the national business owner across commercial verticals to drive activation, revenue growth, and churn reduction; achieve cross-functional OKRs through targeted market strategies and strategic partnerships
- Develop and execute comprehensive segment business plans; manage pricing, programming packages, promotional offers, and loyalty programs to maximize ROI
- Collaborate directly with engineering teams and hardware suppliers to deliver market-driven business requirements for next-generation hardware
- Lead end-to-end negotiation and execution of legal, marketing, and distribution partnerships; manage cross-functional alignment with operations and finance teams
- Integrate AI analytics tools into vertical market forecasting; optimize partner performance data and pricing elasticity to accelerate business decision-making

- Strong skills in commercial sales leadership and national vertical market management; expertise driving quota achievement across multi-segment portfolios
- Ability to synthesize complex business analytics, financial forecasts, and budget models; make high-impact decisions independently across complex operational environments
- Exceptional oral and written communication capabilities; perform high-level executive sales presentations and build relationships across senior stakeholders, partners, and vendors
- Proficiency in AI application and data literacy; leverage advanced analytical tools to evaluate commercial performance trends and market opportunities
- Dynamic problem-solving, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial adaptability; lead cross-functional initiatives with persistent execution and competitive drive
Additional Qualifications:
Strategic business expertise with a Master of Business Administration degree
Critical experience navigating industry-specific and commercial retail distribution environments
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum Experience: 10 years of experience in large-scale sales and marketing with consistent growth and quota achievement
Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 10 years of experience with:
- Excel advanced modeling and financial forecasting
- PowerPoint executive-level sales presentations
- Commercial contract negotiation and business partnership management

Salary Range
Compensation: $200,000.00/Year - $325,000.00/Year
About Our Department
We are seeking a high-energy leader to oversee the DISH Commercial Business channel. The VP, DISH Commercial Business will report to the Executive Vice President, DISH TV. As t he leader of the DISH Business team, you will be responsible for generating account activations, revenue and loyalty utilizing DISH's unique programming and technology solutions within the hospitality, multi-dwelling unit, public-private, and other non-residential industries.
For this position, it is critical to possess a combination of business strategy, business and partnership development, and analytical skills.
