Social Marketing Coordinator, MGM+, MGM+ Marketing

MGM+ brings together world-class entertainment talent to create premium content that reaches global audiences — and our social channels are how millions of viewers discover what to watch next. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Social Marketing Coordinator to help develop and execute social media campaigns that drive viewership and grow the MGM+ brand. This is a new role on a nimble marketing team, and you will touch every part of social: strategy, creative, campaign execution, and reporting across all MGM+ territories.

Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, you will gain exposure to all areas of marketing and creative while helping grow MGM+'s global social footprint. You will collaborate with partners across MGM+ and Amazon, serve as a day-to-day contact with external agency partners, and support the broader marketing team with ad hoc projects.

Key job responsibilities

Support the Senior Social Marketing Lead in developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X, Threads, and emerging platforms.

Manage the social media content calendar across regions, ensuring posts are scheduled, accurate, and aligned with broader marketing plans and the MGM+ brand.

Serve as a day-to-day point of contact with agency partners on programming updates, asset sharing, campaign coordination, and talent-related social media requests.

Track competitive activity, surface relevant platform trends, and contribute to campaign documents including briefs, presentations, and performance recaps for internal and external partners.

Build close working relationships with cross-functional teams across MGM+ and Amazon, including Creative, Publicity, Media, and Marketing, to coordinate campaigns that reinforce MGM+'s position in the premium streaming marketplace.

A day in the life

• You might kick off the morning reviewing overnight social performance metrics before jumping into a content review with the Senior Social Marketing Lead. By midday, you could be coordinating asset deliveries with an agency partner or drafting copy for an upcoming title launch across multiple platforms. Afternoons often include syncing with the Publicity or Creative teams on campaign timing, updating the content calendar, or pulling together a recap deck after a major premiere push.

The MGM+ Global Marketing team covers campaign strategy, media planning and buying, and social marketing. We operate with the agility of a start-up backed by the resources of Amazon, and our original series slate has grown significantly — making this an exciting time to join. We work closely with Publicity, Creative, and other partners across the organization to bring premium content to audiences worldwide.

• Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• 2+ years of digital marketing experience
• Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a major brand or entertainment company in project/production management
• Experience in Online Marketing, Influencer marketing, Blogs, Social Media, & Web Analytics (Adobe preferred)
• Knowledge of current social media platform trends, algorithms, and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Experience in entertainment, streaming, or media marketing

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
