The Job:

As a Human Resources Manager, you’ll be part of our HR team supporting Product Execution & Engineering working as a hybrid employee.  You’ll get to:

Serve as a strategic and hands-on HR partner supporting 5 leaders within the Engineering team and approximately 300 employees. The position combines business partnership, employee relations, talent support, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and day-to-day HR execution.

Partner directly with Engineering leaders to align people strategies with business priorities and organizational goals.

Support approximately 300 employees across the full employee lifecycle.

Build strong, trust-based relationships with leaders and employees while providing sound HR guidance and coaching.

Advise leaders on performance management, employee development, talent planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Support annual HR processes such as merit planning, performance reviews, and development planning.

Partner with leaders on employee relations matters, including coaching, performance concerns, workplace issues, and policy interpretation.

Facilitate onboarding, internal movement, promotions, and organizational changes.

Collaborate with HR partners and centers of excellence on compensation, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, and training support.

Lead or support change management initiatives and communications tied to business and team priorities.

Use HR metrics, reporting, and workforce insights to inform decision-making and improve business outcomes.

Maintain compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and employee experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.

5-7 years of HR experience, ideally in a Human Resources Manager, HR Business Partner, or senior HR generalist capacity.

Ability to work in a hybrid capacity being onsite at our Towson, Maryland office Tuesday through Thursday, and as business needs require.

Experience supporting Engineering, technical, or corporate client groups preferred.

Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, change management, and employment standards.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

The Salary range for this position is $77,600.00 - $124,900.00
 This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. Please note that salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker. ​
