Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Content & Operations, Global Customer Advocacy to join our team. This is a Remote (Americas) role, reporting to the Senior Director, Global Customer Advocacy.  The Senior Manager, Content & Operations will drive the scale and impact of Global Customer Advocacy through AI-powered innovation, strategic content development, and third-party customer validation.

This role will lead the adoption and optimization of AI-driven solutions, amplify customer proof points across cross-functional workflows, and strengthen Zscaler’s market credibility through customer reviews and analyst engagement. By connecting customer advocacy to key business priorities, this individual will accelerate operational efficiency, influence buyer decisions, and maximize the business impact of customer storytelling.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Drive AI-powered customer advocacy by leading the adoption, integration, and continuous optimization of the Customer Story Agent, embedding customer proof points into cross-functional workflows to increase accessibility, utilization, and operational efficiency
• Accelerate AI adoption and measure business impact by executing global enablement initiatives, establishing an AI impact measurement framework, and tracking productivity gains and business outcomes
• Develop strategic customer content aligned with core solution priorities, partnering with cross-functional marketing teams to fuel integrated campaigns and amplify high-impact customer success stories
• Strengthen third-party customer validation by leading the Gartner Peer Insights strategy, establishing an always-on review recruitment program, and integrating customer feedback into marketing content to support competitive positioning and AI-driven search visibility
• Support strategic analyst engagement by partnering with Analyst Relations and regional advocacy teams to fulfill customer reference requests for major industry evaluations and facilitate customer participation in key industry events

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
• 7+ years of experience in customer marketing/advocacy, content strategy, product marketing, marketing operations, or related disciplines within a B2B technology environment
• Strong strategic content development experience, with the ability to translate complex technology solutions and customer outcomes into compelling, data-driven content that supports integrated marketing campaigns
• Proven cross-functional program management skills, with experience leading global initiatives, influencing stakeholders, and driving measurable outcomes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
• Strong analytical and operational expertise, including developing performance measurement frameworks, establishing scalable processes, and leveraging data to optimize program effectiveness

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Demonstrate a proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency

Hands-on experience with Upland RO, including managing customer advocacy content, maintaining data integrity, and optimizing platform workflows

Background in customer advocacy or customer marketing, with experience managing Gartner Peer Insights programs, supporting analyst relations and customer reference requests, and developing compelling customer content

Proven track record deploying and operationalizing AI agents, securing cross-functional stakeholder buy-in, driving internal adoption, and managing ongoing content ingestion, maintenance, and optimization to ensure long-term effectiveness

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$150,500 — $215,000 USD
