Key Responsibilities

• In this role, you will: Undertake specialist diagnostic assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in children and young people aged 2–18 years.
• Attend and actively participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) triage meetings to discuss referrals and contribute to assessment planning.
• Contribute to the assessment and diagnostic process for children and young people presenting with suspected ASD.
• Liaise with parents, carers, and schools, providing appropriate advice, guidance, and support.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across health, education, social care, and the voluntary sector.
• Contribute specialist Speech and Language Therapy expertise to the multidisciplinary assessment process.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with professional standards and service requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• To be considered for this role, you should have: A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
