Experience: 10+ years of progressive commercial construction leadership experience, with a heavy emphasis on high-growth multi-unit QSR, retail, or hospitality environments.
Leadership: 4+ years of direct experience leading and developing multi-tiered teams (including Senior Coordinators or Project Managers).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent executive field experience preferred.

Financial Mastery: Advanced financial acumen with extensive experience managing multi-million-dollar capital project budgets, portfolio forecasting, and value engineering.
Technical Proficiency: High-level mastery of enterprise construction management software (e.g., Procore, Lucernex) and advanced data modeling tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
Cross-Functional Influence: Demonstrated success operating as an executive communicator and cross-functional partner across Real Estate, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.

Portfolio Governance & Lifecycle Optimization
Oversee end-to-end construction support workflows across the portfolio, including corporate and franchise developments, scrapes, and major remodels.
Drive portfolio-wide timeline optimization by identifying pipeline bottlenecks, streamlining permitting and licensing processes, and accelerating New Store Opening (NSO) schedules.
Develop, implement, and maintain standardized standard operating procedures (SOPs), digital playbooks, and scalable tools to promote consistency, efficiency, and execution across regional markets.
Strategic Cost Management & Financial Acumen
Maintain executive oversight of Total Project Cost (TPC) baselines, lead variance analysis, and deliver financial reporting and actionable insights to the VP of Construction & Facilities.
Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize construction costs while preserving operational functionality, long-term durability, and brand standards.
Oversee and continuously enhance historical cost databases and dynamic estimating models for Built-to-Suit (BTS) projects, ground leases, and site conversions.
