Internal Customer Success Manager (INS890)

We're looking for an Internal Customer Success Manager to own existing client relationships at Hire Overseas, a fast-growing offshore staffing platform that helps founders and executives hire full-time overseas talent. You will be the person clients go to after the sale, running check-ins, vetting and presenting candidates, coordinating placements, spotting problems before clients do, and turning happy clients into rehires, reviews, and referrals.

This role was built to free up a co-founder who has been handling it directly. Nearly all of the company's growth comes from referrals and repeat clients, which means the existing client base is the most important thing in the business, and this role exists to look after it. This is a small team with direct access to both founders and no layers between you and the decisions that matter. What You'll Work On

• Client Relationship Management
• Be the primary point of contact for existing clients after the sale
• Join kickoff, check-in, and escalation calls and own the client relationship through every stage of the engagement
• Run regular check-ins across every active account and spot problems with a placed contractor before the client does
• Fix issues when they arise without waiting to be told and without letting things drop
• If a client messages at 9pm, you reply; responsiveness is a baseline, not a stretch
• Candidate Vetting and Placement
• Evaluate the top one to five candidates surfaced by the recruiting team per role and decide who is strong enough to present
• Tell the difference between a strong candidate and one who just interviews well
• Present your picks to clients, coordinate interviews, handle feedback, and close the placement
• Own the quality of every candidate that goes in front of a client
• Growth and Retention
• Spot when a client is ready to hire again before they ask and bring it to them proactively
• When a client is happy, ask for a review and an introduction; most of the company's growth depends on it
• Mark first placements, milestones, and good moments with thoughtful, personalized gestures
• Turn client satisfaction into long-term relationships, repeat business, and referrals

What You Bring

• High critical thinking with the ability to form a clear view, defend it, and apply it to both candidate evaluation and client problem-solving
• Full ownership mindset; if a client is unhappy, it is your problem until it is solved
• Relevant experience in customer success, account management, staffing, or recruiting
• Clear, real, personal written communication; a genuine message beats a polished generic one every time
• Responsive by nature with the ability to keep clients feeling prioritized without being chained to a desk
• Comfortable growing into a role without a playbook being handed to you; the job will get bigger and you want it to Nice to Have
• Background in staffing, recruiting, or offshore hiring
• Experience in a small, founder-led company where you had direct access to leadership and real ownership of outcomes
• Familiarity with offshore talent markets in the Philippines, Latin America, or Africa
