EVOCS is looking for a Workday Financials Manager to lead a team of 10 on a client engagement in Baltimore. You'll run day-to-day delivery across the Workday Financials (FINS) modules. You'll be the main contact for the client's finance and IT leaders, and you'll keep the work on scope, on schedule and accurate for accounting. This role suits someone who has led Workday Financials projects before and knows how finance operations really run.

Responsibilities

• Lead, assign work to and coach a team of 10 Workday functional and technical consultants.
• Own the delivery plan, status reports, risk and issue logs, and escalations for the engagement.
• Oversee configuration and rollout of Workday Financials, with a focus on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Banking & Settlement.
• Run working sessions with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, map current and future processes, and confirm design decisions.
• Make sure configurations follow accounting standards, internal controls and the client's close process.
• Coordinate testing (unit, end-to-end, UAT), data conversion checks and go-live readiness.
• Work with the Workday Architect on solution design, integrations and technical trade-offs.
• Report progress, budget burn and delivery health to client and EVOCS leadership.
• Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of Workday experience, including at least 2 full-lifecycle Workday Financials projects.
• Hands-on experience with the FINS modules, especially AR, AP and GL.
• 3+ years managing delivery teams of 5 or more, ideally on client-facing consulting work.
• Strong knowledge of AR/AP processes: invoicing, collections, cash application, supplier invoices, payment runs and three-way match.
• Clear communication with both finance executives and technical teams.
• Able to work onsite in Baltimore for the length of the engagement.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, or a degree or work background in accounting or finance.
• Workday Financials certification.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close, audit support or SOX controls.
• Experience in public sector, healthcare or higher education.

Pay Range for jobs in the US.
