Work Schedule : Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

 The Work Itself

The Ally Internship Program guides and mentors students with development opportunities and experiences that support your career interests while also driving the business forward. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with diverse teams and functions across the company. You will interact with Ally’s leadership and learn from their personal successes. You will gain the experience of knowing what it means to be an Ally!

As part of our Internship Program, you will have an opportunity to:

• Have hands-on experience and project-based work
• Attend Orientation, Executive Speaking Series, and learning sessions as an Intern cohort
• Participate in Mentoring Program and Giving Back Events
• Network with your peers, your team, and those Allys you find interesting
• Lead an end of assignment presentation

The Details

• Internship Program Timing: May 25 - July 30, 2027
• 40 hours each week with a mix of in-office and remote working days
• Project-based work
• Market competitive hourly compensation and a sign-on bonus, as well as financial housing assistance for those who qualify

Successful interns will have the opportunity to return to Ally in an Early Talent Program or full-time role, or to a second internship, depending upon graduation timing.

Areas of Opportunity

Insurance Service Center - Mechanical Claim Specialists  - this team manages inquiries from dealers, independent repair facilities, retail customers and lienholders involving Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC) and Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) claims, cancellations, and general information. Responsibilities including meeting all customer service, quality, and loss cost control objectives.

The Qualifications We're Looking For Required Qualifications

Program Eligibility : Must be graduating between December 2027 and May 2029

Rising Junior or Senior (during the time of internship) in a full-time undergraduate program.

Major/Course of Study: Automotive Technology or related field.

Available for the full duration of the internship program.

Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future.

 Base Pay Range

$25.00 - $33.00
 An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.


 Incentive Compensation:

This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
