Position Overview

We are seeking an innovative and collaborative leader who will serve as either Assistant Dean for Library Services or Director of the Law Library , reporting directly to the Dean of the School of Law. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping library policy alongside the Dean and faculty, while leading a dedicated team of professional librarians and support staff.

Collaborate regionally through the Mid-America Law Library Consortium (MALLCO), and the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries (MAALL).

Tenure/Tenure-Track Option : For candidates seeking a traditional academic faculty appointment

Qualifications

• We seek candidates with J.D. from an ABA-accredited institution
• Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution
• Substantial law library experience demonstrating progressive leadership
• Vision for the evolving role of law libraries in legal education
• Commitment to collaborative leadership and community building
