About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven

Account Manager to help grow and strengthen our seller ecosystem on Fanatics Live. This role combines new seller acquisition, external partnership development, and ongoing account management, with a focus on identifying high-potential sellers, building relationships, and helping partners succeed on our platform.

The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of the trading card and collectibles industry, particularly Trading Card Games (TCG), alongside an understanding of or willingness to develop expertise in sports cards. You will be comfortable proactively sourcing and pitching new sellers while also managing existing accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting day-to-day operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help expand our seller network across collecting categories and shape the future of live commerce.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify, prospect, and recruit new sellers, breakers, and content creators across TCG and sports card categories to expand the Fanatics Live seller
• Build and manage relationships with prospective and existing sellers, acting as a key point of contact and trusted partner.
• Drive external business development efforts, including seller outreach, pitching, relationship building, and converting new partnership opportunities.
• Educate sellers on platform best practices, tools, and strategies to help them grow their businesses and maximize performance.
• Leverage knowledge of TCG and sports card markets, products, releases, and collecting trends to identify new opportunities for seller acquisition and growth.
• Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new sellers, ensuring a successful transition onto the platform.
• Monitor seller performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting account analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Organize and maintain accurate seller information within our CRM system, including prospect pipelines, account profiles, and relevant sales and audience metrics.
• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and trust & safety teams to support seller growth and address operational needs.
• Become a subject matter expert on Fanatics Live, understanding product features and user flows while supporting broader Seller Success initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of experience in account management, business development, partnerships, or sales, preferably within collectibles, e-commerce, marketplaces, or retail.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional
• Strong knowledge of the trading card and collectibles industry, including card products, brands, releases, market trends, and collecting communities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Trading Card Games (TCG), such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, or other major categories, with an understanding of or willingness to develop expertise in sports cards.
• Experience in external sales or business development, including prospecting, pitching, relationship building, and acquiring new customers or partners.
• Ability to balance proactive new business development with ongoing account management and seller support responsibilities.
• Proficiency with CRM systems such as HubSpot, including pipeline management, customer segmentation, and account tracking.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using sales, audience, and performance data to inform business decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence external partners.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, creator ecosystems, and live shopping
• Previous experience working with card shops, breakers, hobby retailers, or content creators is highly desirable.
• Passion for the hobby, including TCG, sports cards, breaking, and collectibles, is a significant advantage.

Los Angeles Salary Range

$98,900 — $115,700 USD

The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.  This salary range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.  When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training. $107,500 — $135,000 USD
