Veteran's Success Coach

WSU Tech is seeking a Veteran Success Coach to support military-affiliated students as they navigate their educational journey. This position focuses on improving student retention, persistence, and program completion by providing guidance on military-affiliated funding, assisting with enrollment requirements, and connecting students with resources to help them succeed.

Department: Military and Veterans Services

Pay: $23.01/hr

Position Type: Grant-Funded *has a delayed start*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Advise military-affiliated students on available funding options and financial aid requirements.

Conduct outreach to prospective and returning students to assist with enrollment documentation and deadlines.

Utilize student information systems, including Navigate and Banner, to support student recruitment, advising, and retention.

Monitor student progress and assist with initiatives to improve retention, persistence, and completion.

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to support student success.

Assist students and families with questions or concerns related to financial aid eligibility and funding.

Maintain accurate records and protect confidential student information.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
