Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor has broad semiconductor process technology offerings serving customers in various application areas including mobile, consumer, networking/high performance computing, Internet of Things, RF and automotive.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

Provides guidance to Facilities Services personnel and serves in a supervisory capacity in a team representative role for Projects in Tool Hookup.

Assist Facilities Services Tool Hookup team to oversee multiple contract companies for tool installs, lateral/main installs, GCS tool hookup work, and electrical installations.

Technical writing and reports including project background presentations, daily/weekly reports and project closeout reporting.

Develops documentation for Facilities Services future scenario planning support including schedule forecasting, reporting, and infrastructure utility studies.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's What You'll Need:

2 or 4 year degree preferred

2 or more years of experience preferred; Project Management of semiconductor facility support.

Has knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware, computer software; including applications and programming ability to read and understand design plans, shop drawings, and work in progress.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills are required to communicate technical content to various organizations.

Aptitude for documentation and data analysis using MS Office programs, including Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point.

The current base salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $151,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

This position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.  Employment may be contingent on either the applicant verifying that the applicant falls under the “U.S. Person” definition (including U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, and those granted U.S. asylum or refugee status) or the employer timely obtaining any necessary export license under federal law.

The employer evaluates export licensing on a case-by-case basis and may decline to proceed with a job applicant in its sole discretion, as export license applications can take many weeks to process.
