About Ontic Tewkesbury

Tewkesbury represents an exciting new chapter in Ontic's global MRO journey. Our purpose-built 55,000 sq ft facility in Gloucestershire is our European MRO hub and one of Ontic's dedicated MRO Centers of Excellence.

We're building a team focused on delivering high-quality, OEM-backed repair capability with the consistency and turnaround our customers depend on. That makes Tewkesbury a particularly exciting place to join Ontic: you'll have the opportunity to help shape a growing operation, influence how we work and be part of building something for the future.

If you enjoy change, growth and the opportunity to make a visible impact, you'll find plenty of opportunity here.

The opportunity

We're looking for an organised and proactive Calibration Administrator to join our Engineering team at Tewkesbury on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys planning, coordinating people and keeping things running smoothly. You'll play an important role in organising calibration activities across multiple Ontic sites, ensuring engineers are scheduled effectively, equipment is available when needed and records are accurate and up to date.

You don't need previous calibration experience to succeed in this role. If you have a background in administration, scheduling or materials planning and enjoy working in a busy, collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and coordinate calibration engineers' schedules across multiple Ontic sites, helping ensure activities are completed on time.
• Maintain accurate calibration records, equipment databases and documentation to support quality and traceability.
• Process calibration certificates and manage data within calibration systems.
• Coordinate equipment availability, shipments and logistics, keeping track of equipment locations and movements.
• Raise purchase requisitions for equipment, tooling, consumables and spare parts needed by the Calibration team.
• Work closely with engineers, manufacturing teams and external suppliers, providing clear updates on schedules and equipment status.
• Support the wider Calibration team with day-to-day administration and help keep activities organised and running efficiently.

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in an administrative, planning, scheduling or coordination role.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when processing data, maintaining records and managing documentation.
• Good Microsoft Office skills and experience working with databases or electronic record management systems.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across different teams.
• The ability to work independently, take ownership of your tasks and contribute to a collaborative team.
• Why Ontic?
• At Ontic, we're specialists in keeping critical aircraft flying. Our work supports civil and military aviation around the world, giving established aircraft products the long-term support they need to remain safe, reliable and available.
• But it's our people who make that possible. We're a growing, global team where you're trusted to take ownership, encouraged to challenge how things have always been done and supported to develop your career as our business grows.
• We believe in embracing the challenge - working together to solve complex problems and create opportunities for our customers, our business and each other.
