About The Role

Kinder’s is seeking an experienced

Warehouse Manager who is passionate about being part of a team of hard-working people focused on bringing the future of flavor to consumers everywhere.

How you'll have an impact at Kinder’s:

As the Warehouse Manager who will play a key role in helping us scale effectively by overseeing storage and order fulfillment processes handled by 3PL warehouse providers. This position is essential in ensuring seamless coordination between our internal operations team and our third-party warehousing partners as well as help streamline warehouse best practices and delivery of strong KPI performance by 3PL warehouse providers.

You’ll be the key contact point across our warehousing, inbound, and outbound shipping processes—ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and information across the supply chain.  We're seeking someone who not only understands warehousing and supply chain best practices but is also driven by continuous improvement, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of our operations and contribute directly to the continued success of the Kinder’s brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong Operational Leadership Skills, and be a thought Partner to Customer Operations, Co-Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Planning, Inventory Control & Logistics Teams
• Expertise in 3PL Warehouse Management
• Supply Chain Internal Optimization Partner
• Efficiency and Cost Savings
• Take lead in streamlining warehousing operations by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Logistics and Inventory Management teams to optimize warehouse utilization and inventory flow.
• Take lead in implementing cost-saving measures that reduce overall warehouse expenses while maintaining service quality.
• Risk Mitigation
• Proactively identify potential risks in warehouse operations, including delays, disruptions, and compliance challenges. Review 3 rd party operational RCAs (root cause analyses).
• Develop contingency plans and enforce process controls to ensure business continuity and resilience.
• Create and document SOPs that maintain high warehouse operational standards.
• Serve as a project member for new facility openings or operational transitions.
• Develop warehouse key performance indicator scorecards and 3 rd party warehouse audit & continuous improvement programs.
• Operations & Fulfillment Management
• Ensure timely and accurate receiving and shipping performance.
• Ensure alignment from warehouse operations with customer expectations to strengthen relationships and build loyalty.
• Maintain open communication with internal teams and external partners to support a consistent, positive customer experience.
• Ensure 3PL warehouses meet KPI goals on receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, OS&D’s, returns and VAS (value-added services).
• Scalability and Flexibility
• Ensure warehouse operations adapt to meet changing business needs, including seasonal fluctuations, market shifts, and new product launches.
• Ensure warehouse operational models that support both short-term demands and long-term growth are implemented effectively.
• KPI Management -
• Sourcing and Expansion
• Support category expansion teams in sourcing, onboarding, and establishing new product categories or distribution channels.
• Help maintain relationships with new suppliers, logistics partners, and stakeholders.
• Assist in the implementation and execution of plans to support expansion initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table

• 5 to 7+ years of warehouse logistics or supply chain leadership experience, preferably with operations background in consumer-packaged goods supply chain or operations with strong analytical skills.
• Proven track record of managing 3 rd party distribution center operations. Ability to set and achieve goals and engage in creative problem solving
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail are necessary, as well as commitment to seeing tasks through completion.
• Flexible, efficient, and motivated self-starter that requires little direction, with a proven ability in creative problem solving and managing multiple priorities
• A commitment and passion for being an active participant in our fast-paced, high growth company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) products. Familiarity with SAP a plus. Advanced proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Familiarity with SAP and RF scanning technologies a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or related field is preferred.
• Industry Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional in Lean Six Sigma/ Continuous Improvement, Certified ASCM (Association of Supply Chain Management).
• Location and Travel

The position will be based out of our office in Walnut Creek, CA. We strongly believe in the power of culture and community and have a hybrid work structure with 4 days in the office on a weekly basis to encourage collaboration and personal connections that will allow us to better serve our customers and consumer and to have more fun. Fridays are flex days with employees having the opportunity to choose to be either in the office or to work from home based on what makes most sense for them.
