RMC is hiring an IT Service Desk Technician (0800-1600 M-F) at Crane, Indiana.
The selected applicant will be responsible for:
Maintaining a professional relationship with all customers and clients in a very busy call center environment.
Providing technical support by responding to and resolving end-user problems.
Identify, research and resolve technical problems at the Tier 1 level of responsibility.
Documenting internal procedures.
Assisting with the onboarding of new users.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in researching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologies.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of Systems Administration and/or IT Help Desk Experience.
- Associates degree plus one (1) year of experience considered in lieu of Effective use of Help Desk tracking and ticketing system(s); tracking technical issues using ServiceNow and other ticketing systems; maintaining historical records and related documentation to ensure timely resolution.
- Diagnose data communications problems using specialized tools, test equipment and software utilities.
- Installation and configuration of new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Certification Requirements: DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + CE) is required. Additional Training may be required to be completed within 30 days of start.
- Security Clearance Requirements: Active DoD Secret clearance is required to be maintained. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $60,000 to $70,000 (annually).
