E-commerce Marketing Analyst

Role:

E-Commerce Specialist – Marketplace & Online Store Operations

Location:

Remote (LATAM)

Timezone:

40 hours/week (Overlap with US Business Hours - EST)

About the Company

Our client is a fast-paced e-commerce venture led by an experienced entrepreneur currently launching a new "machine" from the ground up. Having previously found success on Amazon, the business is now pivoting its focus to dominate the Walmart Marketplace

. This is a lean, execution-focused environment that values high accountability and the seamless integration of AI to drive growth and operational efficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for an e-commerce professional who will run our online stores as if they were their own business. You will own our accounts on Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Shopify

, and other emerging channels end-to-end: finding and selecting profitable products, launching and optimizing listings, managing inventory and PPC campaigns, and driving overall sales and profitability toward shared budget goals.

This is not a task-execution role. Our founder will not manage your day-to-day. We need someone who sees what needs to be done, makes sound decisions, takes full ownership of results, and communicates clearly—without waiting to be told.

Key Responsibilities

• Product & Platform Management
• Strategic Sourcing: Continuously research and identify high-profitability, high-volume products to expand the store’s catalog.
• Walmart Marketplace Operations: Manage the end-to-end store presence on Walmart, ensuring listings are optimized and performance metrics are tracked.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and oversee general operations to ensure the "machine" runs smoothly and avoids stockouts.
• Marketing & Content Creation
• AI-Driven Content: Utilize advanced AI tools to generate and post daily organic content designed to drive page growth, followers, and brand engagement.
• Paid Media Management: Execute and manage Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns to boost sales, overseeing an initial monthly budget of ~$1,000 and scaling alongside revenue.
• Growth Tracking: Monitor ad performance and organic reach to optimize the marketing spend and content strategy.
• Must-have Qualifications
• Proactive Problem Solver & Outcome Owner
• E-commerce Foundations: 2+ years of e-commerce experience. While Amazon FBA experience is a plus, a deep understanding of digital marketplaces is essential.
• AI Savvy: High proficiency in using AI tools for content creation (text, image, or video) and general operational efficiency. This is a non-negotiable part of the daily workflow.
• Marketing Literacy: Practical knowledge of Meta Ads Manager (FB/IG) and the ability to manage small-to-medium scale advertising budgets.
• Execution Focus: A proven track record of being a self-starter who values efficiency and delivers results in a lean team environment.
• Direct experience managing marketplace PPC campaigns with a clear understanding of ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, and keyword strategy.
• Strong mastery of e-commerce unit economics (landed cost, marketplace fees, margin, ROI).
• Proficiency with research tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Keepa, etc.) and advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills for forecasting and reporting.
• AI Proficiency: Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate product research, copywriting, listing creation, and operational workflows.
• Excellent written English communication skills; professional tone for supplier and marketplace interactions.
• Who We Are Looking For: Attitude & Work Style
• Ownership Mindset: Treats store revenue and profit as personal targets; takes responsibility for results, good or bad, without excuses.
• Independent Execution: Plans their own week, sets priorities, and moves work forward without daily supervision or check-ins.
• Proactive Initiative: Spots opportunities (new products, new channels, cost savings) and issues (stockouts, suppressed listings, rising ad costs) and acts on them immediately.
• Sound Judgment: Knows which decisions to make independently and which to escalate; brings recommendations, not just problems.
• Data-Driven & Commercially Minded: Base decisions on margins, conversion rates, and sell-through rather than opinion.
• Reliability & Integrity: Meets deadlines, maintains operational transparency, and documents processes clearly.
