- Design and execute test plans covering install, backup/restore, and cross-version upgrade/migration workflows, ensuring customer data and configuration integrity across releases
- Lead functional, integration, regression, system and exploratory testing across SMK components, including licensing enforcement, TLS/certificate management, and mail/SIEM/audit integrations
- Validate secure remote access workflows — PAM Connections, Tunnels and Remote Browser Isolation —including authentication, authorization, session recording/playback, encrypted communication and role-based access controls
- Drive and expand automated test coverage for the Vault and Admin Console web applications, partnering with front-end engineering on browser-based (Playwright) test suites
- Build, maintain and mentor the team on the shared test harness and the CI gating strategy that runs it
- Partner with DevOps/Release engineering on CI/CD pipelines, container image and bundle builds, and multi-distro host preflight checks
- Test SMK behavior across different operating systems, network conditions, and enterprise/air-gapped environments
- Reproduce, document and track defects with clear technical detail, logs and steps to reproduce across containerized, multi-service deployments
- Work closely with Engineering to troubleshoot complex issues involving networking, connectivity, container orchestration, performance and system behavior
- Lead sprint planning, requirement reviews and release validation activities, and provide technical QA mentorship to other QA engineers
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or similar platforms to support test design, troubleshooting, defect analysis and documentation

- Strong understanding of networking concepts, client-server communication, and TLS/PKI fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose, and working knowledge of Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms
- Experience testing modern web front ends (e.g., React/TypeScript single-page applications), including cross- browser functional testing and browser automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
- Experience with functional, integration, regression and system-level testing
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including the ability to analyze logs across multi-service/containerized deployments, reproduce complex defects and isolate root causes
- Experience testing across Windows, Linux and/or macOS environments
- Familiarity with cloud environments, virtualization and DevOps workflows (CI/CD pipelines, shell scripting, build tooling)
- Experience working with APIs, databases or backend services as part of end-to-end testing
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization and secure access concepts
- Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail or similar
- Ability to work closely with Engineering, DevOps and Product teams in an Agile development environment, and to lead cross-functional test planning
- Ability and willingness to use AI-assisted tools effectively to improve test development, analysis, troubleshooting and documentation
