Why Headout?

We’re a rocketship: 9-figure revenue, record growth, and profitable

With $200M+ in revenue, guests in 700+ cities, and 18 months of profitability, Headout is the fastest-growing marketplace in the travel industry, and we’re just getting started. We've raised $60M+ from top-tier investors and are building a durable company for the long term — because that's what our mission needs and deserves. We’re growing, profitable and nowhere near done.

What we do is important

• In an increasingly digital world, there is a desperate need to augment our human experience by getting us to interact with the real world around us and the people in it. At Headout, our mission is to be the easiest, fastest, and most delightful way to head out to a real-life experience — from immersive tours to museums to live events and everything in between.
• Why now?
• The foundation is strong. The opportunity ahead is even bigger. We’ve hit profitability, built momentum, and proven the model — but there’s so much more to build. If you’re looking to join a company where the trajectory is steep and your impact is real, this is the moment.
• Our culture
• Reinventing the travel industry isn't easy, but that's the fun part.
• We care deeply about ownership, craft, and impact, and we’re here to do the best work of our careers. We won’t pretend like it’s for everyone but if you’re a builder who loves solving tough problems, you’ll feel right at home.
• 👩‍💻The role
• Dex is Headout’s next big venture that creates cinematic, immersive, narrative-driven audio tours for venues and neighbourhoods worldwide. We are looking for an Creative Producer to join the Dex production team. As an Creative Producer, you will own the full production lifecycle of a tour - from research and script development through audio production, QA to launch - working within Dex’s established scriptwriting frameworks and production infrastructure. This is neither a fully writing-oriented role nor a pure production management role. You need to be as comfortable redrafting parts of a script as you will be chasing delivery timelines.
• This role is based in Bengaluru. We’re looking for candidates who are local or open to relocating.
• 🤩
• What makes this role special?
• Own the guest experience: Everything upstream - the research, the script, the QA pass - exists so a traveler standing at that exact spot in a city or a museum actually enjoys being there. You're accountable for that moment landing.
• Collaborate across functions: Work with writers, business teams, partners, audio production, and venue stakeholders to keep production on schedule.
• Own the substance: You get to decide what the guests hear. An exhibit might have a dozen interesting angles - what you choose to tell them in three minutes determines whether that time feels worth it. You’re the curator and tastemaker for that experience..
• Drive the evolution: Manage multiple tours in parallel across different production stages, while consistently improving processes and raising the bar.
• Listen to our guests: Analyse feedback and use it to sharpen your tours.
• 💝
• What skills & experience do you need?
• 3+ years of experience: Experience that includes both narrative or scriptwriting output, particularly in audio, video, or long-form storytelling, and project coordination across timelines, vendors, and deliverables.
• Strong research instincts: Attention to factual accuracy, sourcing, and the ability to identify and shape the most compelling stories from a body of information.
• AI fluency: Familiarity with AI tools and an ability to use them to improve and streamline the production process, from research and scripting to editing and QA.
• Structured creative thinking: Comfort working within a structured creative framework, rather than as a blank-page generalist writer.
• Highly organised: Able to manage multiple priorities, stay on top of timelines and deliverables, and work collaboratively with the team to adapt as priorities evolve.
• ➕
• Bonus
• Experience with travel vlogs, travel writing, or experiential tourism content.
• Experience with voice AI production tools (e.g., ElevenLabs, Seedream, etc.).
• Background in history, urban geography, or place-based storytelling.
• EEO statement
• At Headout, we don’t just accept differences — we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our partners, and the community at large. Headout provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age or disability.
