(Junior) Account Executive - DACH (m/w/d)

As an Account Executive at charles, you own deals end to end: from finding the right prospects to closing and handing over to a happy customer. You bring hunger and drive; we bring a strong product, a growing playbook and people who want you to win. Whether you're stepping into your first closing role or already have a few quarters of quota behind you, you'll help grow charles in the DACH market by bringing Conversational AI to leading consumer brands.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Own your deals across the full sales cycle: outbound prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation and closing
• Build pipeline in the DACH market with consumer brands in e-commerce, retail and D2C
• Engage decision-makers like CMOs, Heads of CRM and E-Commerce Leads
• Understand each prospect's business and turn that into a tailored, compelling pitch
• Hit and beat your targets, with uncapped commission when you do
• Share what you hear in the market and help shape our sales playbook

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

Must-haves

• First experience in B2B sales, e.g. as SDR/BDR, in a closing role, or in a customer-facing role in SaaS or e-commerce
• A hunter mindset: you go out and create opportunities instead of waiting for them
• Fluent German (C2, native or near-native) and confident business English
• Strong communicator: you can pitch to a founder as well as a Head of Marketing
• Coachable and ambitious: you seek feedback, learn fast and take ownership of your numbers
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of B2B SaaS sales with a track record of hitting quota
• Background in MarTech, CRM, AdTech or e-commerce
• A network in the DACH e-commerce or consumer brand space
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
