Job Summary

Andela is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to join our Managed Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with new and existing clients across this newly established (1 yr old) business line. In this role you will work with customers to choose Andela for their outsourced software development and modernization & migration, enterprise knowledge search, data foundations and agentic workflow programs.

You will also help drive adoption of cutting edge AI capabilities from Anthropic, OpenAI and GitHub through positioning of Andela’s AI Learning Solutions. You will be a key player in expanding Andela's market presence and helping companies execute on their strategic priorities - while providing technical consultation and building trust with insights and honesty along the way.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and contract signing, plus upsells.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Andela's offerings, particularly in the Managed and Learning Solutions spaces, to effectively articulate our value proposition to prospective clients.
• Clearly communicate how Andela's offerings can address client needs and pain points, demonstrating a deep understanding of technical requirements and project scopes.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations through a consultative lens and value-add behaviors.
• Orchestrate seamless hand-offs from the SDR team, and conduct deep technical discovery to determine right-fit before bringing in any added resources.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with our Marketing, SDR, Sales Engineering, Delivery, Legal, Ops, and Talent Experience teams to ensure successful projects and continuous improvement in how we serve our customers.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data in our CRM system (Salesforce).
• Actively participate in team meetings, sales training, and industry events to stay informed and continuously improve sales skills.
• Take personal ownership of results and contribute to the overall growth and success of the Managed Solutions team and Andela - it’s a start-up within a well established company.
• Partner with clients spanning Enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments, gaining exposure to diverse business needs and sales cycles throughout your tenure at Andela.
• Work strategically with Partners (Open AI, McKinsey, Anthropic, Github, etc.) to cosell joint packages and grow our footprint within Partner seller ecosystems.
• Partner closely with the existing client base Sales Team to expand our footprint in Managed Solutions within our MSA accounts. Need expansion beyond current contacts.
• Desired Experience (Don’t Need All Necessarily!): Proven track record of success in B2B technical sales roles, consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience selling complex outsourced software development, AI-driven products, Migrations/Modernizations, and/or Partner-driven solutions.
• Partner-selling experience - with AI Labs, Cloud Partners, or other relevant angles.
• Expanding new accounts from $0 > $1mm, existing from $1mm > $3mm.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and a genuine curiosity for emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various technological stacks - plus a lens on how AI is impacting them.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Comfort in a start-up environment, where moving fast and tight organization of time is required to thrive
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
