Finance Manager, R2L Sub Same Day - Delivery Finance

The R2L Sub Same Day (SSD) Delivery Finance team is looking for a proactive, results-driven Finance Manager with a can-do approach and a bias for action. As part of one of Amazon's fastest-growing segments, we own last-mile transportation spend across North America and partner shoulder-to-shoulder with operations to shape business strategy, drive operational excellence, and make the investment and expansion decisions that scale the business.

Our mission is simple: continuously improve the customer experience while driving long-term profitability across our portfolio. We're constantly innovating — experimenting, failing fast, learning, and scaling rapidly, all anchored in a data-driven decision-making culture.

What you'll do:

• Own and strengthen key finance and reporting processes, including forecasting and reconciliation, and build the long-range business plan that guides where we invest and expand.
• Support customer-centric propositions — bringing the financial rigor that helps the business decide whether new offerings and initiatives are profitable and worth scaling.
• Leverage AI to solve problems and build decision frameworks that make complex tradeoffs clear — turning large-scale data into faster, sharper business decisions.
• Identify and define the metrics that matter — the strategic input drivers that reveal how to improve the economics of the business.
• Design, develop, and maintain performance measurements and reporting in partnership with finance, tech, and operations leaders across the globe.
• Lead financial analyses of major business events and solve complex problems that inform company-wide strategic decisions.
• Who you are: You influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and thrive in a fast-evolving environment. You partner comfortably with executives and business units across Amazon, communicate with clarity (verbal and written), and instinctively prioritize the highest-impact work. You see large-scale data as an opportunity to build creative solutions — not a chore — and you move Amazon forward by focusing on what drives the greatest results for stakeholders and customers alike.
