We're looking for a PR and communications leader who knows how to make brands famous.

Someone who can spot the story before it becomes a headline, turn great creative work into cultural conversation, and build earned attention that drives real business impact.

You'll shape VaynerX's global reputation while leading VXPR, our integrated public relations offering. From Super Bowl campaigns and social-first moments to executive thought leadership, you'll turn our work, people, and perspectives into stories that travel beyond the advertising industry.

You're a strategic advisor, creative storyteller, relationship builder, and cultural connector. You understand how earned and social amplify each other, and you're always looking for the angle no one else has seen.

Here's Where You Come In.

Based at VXHQ in Hudson Yards, NYC, you'll report to the Global Chief Marketing Officer and collaborate with teams across our 17 global offices.

You're not starting from zero. We have incredible clients, breakthrough work, strong media relationships, and a team that knows how to move fast. Your job is to build on it.

You'll strengthen VaynerX's reputation, deepen client relationships, unlock new business opportunities, and lead a talented team across corporate and consumer communications.

Our teams are lean and entrepreneurial. You'll set the vision, empower your team, and get hands-on when it counts.

The right person for this role will shape what comes next and help write the playbook to get us there.

What You'll Do

• Turn Great Work Into Earned Attention
• Embed PR into the creative process, working alongside social, strategy, media, and creative teams from day one.
• Develop earned-first ideas across campaigns, talent partnerships, creators, and brand experiences that spark cultural conversation.
• Connect earned, social, and owned channels to amplify stories and drive measurable impact.
• Spot emerging trends and bring unexpected ideas and fresh angles to the table.
• Build and Grow VXPR
• Lead VXPR's continued evolution as an integrated communications offering within VaynerX.
• Strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities to expand PR across the network.
• Partner with business leadership on new business strategies, pitches, and proposals that drive growth.
• Deliver culturally relevant communications that build brands and demonstrate business impact.
• Shape the VaynerX Story
• Lead global communications, strengthening our reputation and visibility across business, marketing, technology, and culture..
• Turn our work, leaders, and perspectives into compelling stories that reach beyond the ad trades.
• Advise senior leadership on executive positioning, corporate announcements, reputation, and more.
• Lead and Inspire
• Lead and mentor a high-performing corporate and consumer communications team.
• Build trusted relationships with executives, clients, and cross-functional partners.
• Set priorities, empower the team, and balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of experience in PR, communications, or earned media, with proven leadership experience.
• Deep expertise across corporate and consumer communications, ideally in an agency or integrated marketing environment.
• Strong media relationships across business, advertising, marketing, consumer, and culture.
• A Modern PR Practitioner and social-first mindset: You know earned media lives everywhere now, from the Wall Street Journal to a meme account with 10M followers. You know how to get coverage into both, and you know when each one matters. You understand internet subcultures well enough to spark momentum that feels native, not forced.
• A social-first mindset and a sharp understanding of how earned media, creators, and culture intersect.
• Experience advising senior executives, building thought leadership, and managing reputation.
• A commercial mindset with experience growing client relationships and supporting new business.
• Exceptional storytelling, writing, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• An entrepreneurial spirit, strong cultural instincts, sound judgment, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Above all, you see the story others miss and know how to turn great ideas into conversations that matter.

$190,000 — $225,000 USD
