Account Based Marketing Manager

We’re looking for an Account-Based Marketing Manager to help us grow our relationships with some of the world’s largest CPG companies, including Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé and Danone.

Working within Marketing and closely alongside our Account Directors and Account Managers, you’ll turn Mintel’s intelligence and expertise into highly targeted activity that reaches new buyers and buying groups within our strategic accounts.

This is a hands-on, commercial role. Your job is to get the right Mintel thinking alongside the right message in front of the right people at the right time – and turn that engagement into meetings for our commercial teams to convert into pipeline and revenue.

What you’ll do

• Build targeted outbound and nurture programmes
• Work with account teams to map and identify priority audiences, whitespace and new buying groups.
• Research accounts and stakeholders to understand who we need to reach and what will get their attention.
• Build and execute targeted outbound email and nurture programmes using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Sales Loft.
• Write compelling emails, sequences and messaging that are highly relevant and provocative but charming and personal – not generic marketing.
• Test, learn and optimise activity based on engagement and commercial outcomes.
• Turn Mintel’s expertise into reasons to engage
• Leverage Mintel’s treasure trove of consumer intelligence and work with our Principal Strategists and experts to identify the insights and content most relevant to each account.
• Curate and repackage Mintel’s thinking into sharp campaigns, conversation starters and client communications.
• Find creative ways to connect Mintel’s expertise to the issues and opportunities that matter to individual clients by researching our clients and reading materials like Corporate Reports.
• Partner with Sales to create pipeline
• Work closely with Account Directors and Account Managers to plan activity and coordinate follow-up.
• Move engaged contacts towards meetings about Mintel’s Consultancy capabilities.
• Track success through new contacts engaged, meetings generated, opportunities created and pipeline influenced.
• For the right candidate, go beyond digital ABM
• We’re looking for someone who can help us think creatively about how Mintel builds relationships with senior decision-makers, as well as run high-performing email campaigns.
• There is scope to develop more high-touch ways of engaging our most important clients – from private dinners and executive roundtables to invite-only events, VIP WhatsApp groups and a customer advisory board.  The opportunity to grow and expand is there for the right person.

What we’re looking for

• You might already work in marketing. But you could equally be a high-performing BDR or SDR who loves the craft of outbound and account development and wants to make the move into marketing.
• You know how to research a complex organisation, identify the right people, understand what matters to them and create outreach that gets a response. You’re commercially minded, comfortable working with sales teams and motivated by creating genuine opportunities – not simply generating activity.
• You’ll ideally bring: A strong track record in B2B outbound, business development, ABM or demand generation with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience creating tailored email campaigns, sequences and nurture flows, ideally using Sales Loft or similar platforms.
• Excellent written communication skills and an instinct for messaging that gets senior audiences to engage.
