We are seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy manufacturing facility in Vidor, Texas. This position will handle general office responsibilities including answering phones, data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, filing, and assisting management and operations staff.

The ideal candidate is professional, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and has strong computer and organizational skills.

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
• Greet visitors, vendors, employees, and customers as needed.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry.
• Update, and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Enter production, inventory, employee, or operational information into company systems.
• Maintain electronic and paper files and records.
• Scan, copy, print, and organize documents.
• Assist with preparing reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents.
• Support manufacturing and operations personnel with daily administrative needs.
• Track paperwork and follow up on missing or incomplete information.
• Assist with email correspondence and general office communication.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative, office, or clerical experience preferred.
• Microsoft Excel experience required.
• Strong and accurate data-entry skills.
• Comfortable answering and managing a multi-line phone system.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, excel and other office software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and professional communication skills.
• Manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or production office experience is a plus.
