BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) w/ American Sign Language (ASL) to join the team in Morganton, NC, working for a specific client. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:
- One year of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities

- Ability to communicate using ASL
- (Fluent in ASL is preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Provide personal care assistance with daily hygiene (bathing, dressing, etc.)
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
- Participate in community integration activities
Compensation
Compensation & Schedule:
- Competitive pay rates starting at $15 with a weekly pay schedule
