Our client is a profitable, self-funded B2C subscription SaaS company operating primarily in the US market. The company has grown from a browser-based product into a high-scale mobile subscription business approaching $1M in monthly revenue.

Its products help consumers and their families stay safer from phishing, online scams, identity theft, spam, suspicious calls, and other online threats.

The company operates with a lean, execution-focused team and is now building its internal creative function to support the next stage of growth in the US.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Creative Strategist who combines performance marketing thinking, direct-response copywriting, and hands-on creative execution.

This is not a role for someone whose creative process is primarily based on replicating competitor ads or adapting existing winning concepts. Our client operates in a category with relatively few direct competitors, so the ability to develop original creative angles from first principles is particularly important.

You will research audiences and markets, identify consumer insights, develop creative hypotheses, and personally write scripts for performance advertising, primarily for Meta.

The ideal person understands not only what performs, but why — and can translate consumer psychology, emotion, persuasion principles, and performance data into new concepts, hooks, narratives, and scripts.

You will work directly with the founders and collaborate with the people involved in creative production and product, while helping build the creative function from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Develop original creative angles, concepts, hooks, narratives, and testing hypotheses for Meta campaigns.
• Personally write direct-response scripts from initial idea through final production brief.
• Research audiences, consumer motivations, market trends, competitor advertising, and broader creative patterns.
• Apply consumer psychology, persuasion principles, emotional drivers, and direct-response frameworks to creative development.
• Turn concepts into clear, actionable briefs for video producers and motion designers.
• Guide creative production and provide feedback to ensure the final execution preserves the intended message and hypothesis.
• Analyze creative performance and use the results to understand why concepts worked or failed.
• Turn those learnings into the next cycle of creative experiments.
• Connect advertising concepts with the broader customer journey, including funnels, landing experiences, and paywalls.
• Help establish a repeatable creative process and, as the function grows, potentially bring in additional scriptwriting support.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with B2C mobile subscription products and performance marketing.
• Deep understanding of Meta performance advertising and direct-response creative.
• Hands-on experience independently writing advertising scripts, hooks, and copy.
• Strong creative strategy skills grounded in consumer psychology, emotion, persuasion, and marketing fundamentals.
• Ability to generate ideas beyond simply reproducing competitor creatives.
• Experience using performance data to develop, evaluate, and iterate creative hypotheses.
• A portfolio of performance ads where you can clearly explain your personal contribution, particularly concepts and scripts you wrote yourself.
• Experience with high-growth mobile consumer products; experience within the Genesis ecosystem is highly relevant.
• Comfort working directly with founders in a small, flat, highly execution-focused environment.
• High ownership and autonomy, with the ability to move independently from research and analysis to an executable creative concept.
• Professional working English.
