.NET Software Engineer - Hybrid

Mindex is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Product division. You'll design and build cloud-native applications on.NET and AWS, using AI-assisted engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle. You'll work closely with Product, Test Engineering, Support, and CloudOps to deliver reusable services and reliable infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a curious, detail-oriented engineer eager to own solutions end-to-end and adopt modern AI-assisted workflows.

We welcome candidates from a variety of locations; however, all candidates should be open to occasional in-person participation for business meetings, team events, or collaboration opportunities. Candidates located within approximately 35 miles of Rochester, NY may be asked to work from the office more frequently based on business or team needs.

What You'll Accomplish

Apply AI-assisted engineering practices (AI DLC) across the development lifecycle, sharing effective workflows and patterns with the team.

Design and maintain APIs, background services, and reusable business logic using.NET and C#.

Build customer-facing features, including UI, Blazor apps, and.NET MAUI mobile functionality.

Develop cloud-native solutions and infrastructure as code on AWS, and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Implement observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting) and investigate production issues to identify root causes.

Apply security, privacy, and least-privilege principles across application and infrastructure work.

Participate in technical design, estimation, code reviews, and incremental delivery.

Collaborate with Product, Test Engineering, Support, and CloudOps to resolve dependencies and deliver complete solutions.

Document architecture and technical decisions to support long-term maintainability.
