Job Function

What You'll Do

• Partner with District Managers to maintain existing customer accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely support and addressing inquiries.
• Prepare and deliver pricing quotations for non-contract business within established response times.
• Follow up on quotations to secure business and gather feedback on lost opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels and availability to provide accurate pricing and lead times.
• Enter customer orders accurately and ensure proper processing and setup.
• Track orders through production and shipment, coordinating with plant and production teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor inventory commitments for contract customers and communicate concerns proactively.
• Conduct outbound calls to inactive and prospective customers to generate new sales opportunities.
• Maintain regular communication with District Managers regarding customer activity and territory updates.

• 1-2 years of inside sales, customer service, or account management experience.
• Experience in the metal industry such as manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
