Your Impact

As a Store Operations Corporate Facilities Intern, you'll gain valuable experience supporting the day-to-day operations that ensure Lowe’s stores remain safe, functional, and customer-ready. Working alongside our Retail Facilities and Store Operations teams, you’ll assist in coordinating maintenance requests, tracking vendor activity, and analyzing store-level data to help improve facilities support across our 1,700+ locations.

This role is ideal for someone interested in operations, facilities coordination, and gaining insight into how Lowe’s keeps its stores running efficiently behind the scenes.

What You Will Learn

Support project execution and design development for new retail stores, supply chain buildings, and corporate facilities from initial planning through construction completion.

Assist with permitting, entitlements, and design coordination , working with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects meet established requirements and timelines.

Participate in site and building design reviews , evaluating construction plans, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation for accuracy and alignment with project requirements.

Support the development and preparation of construction bid packages , including organizing project requirements and distributing bid documents to general contractors for pricing and construction services.

Collaborate with general contractors, design partners, and project stakeholders throughout the bidding and construction process to track deliverables, address project needs, and support successful execution.

Assist with day-to-day construction project and contract management , maintaining construction documentation, monitoring design and contract requirements, and supporting projects throughout the full construction lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Engineering –Construction Management (discipline) or a related field.
• Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028.
• Preferred Skills/Experience
• 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Proficiency with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc) and data analytics.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and databases, and ability to write simple queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity to explore data.
• Comfort working with data and learning internal platforms.
• Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization is a plus.
