Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care with surgical team in collaboration with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Position Details:

Mercy Cardiovascular Operating Room -Seeking Experienced CVOR RNs!

RN II- On Call Nights, 7pm-7am (3 x12's) or 9pm-7am (4 x 10's)

Join Mercy's Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center.

• Mercy's CVOR provides advanced surgical care for adult patients across six operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and a peripheral vascular lab. Nurses on this team support both
• Cardiothoracic Surgery and
• Vascular Surgery

, working alongside highly specialized surgeons performing:

• Open heart and vascular procedures
• Minimally invasive surgeries
• Robotic cardiothoracic procedures
• Vascular interventions and complex vascular surgeries
• This position will be compensated as an exempt salaried role
• , based on 40 hours per week
• . As an exempt position, the employee will not be eligible for overtime compensation

, regardless of the number of hours worked while responding to call.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide

60 hours of on-call coverage per week according to a mutually agreed-upon schedule.

The employee will receive the established

40-hour weekly salary only

, regardless of the frequency or duration of call-ins during the assigned on-call period.

While on call, the employee must:

Remain available and capable of responding when contacted.

Report to the facility within

30 minutes of receiving a call to work.

Maintain compliance with all departmental and organizational on-call expectations.

This position is designed to provide consistent after-hours coverage and requires the flexibility to respond promptly to operational and patient care needs.

Required Education:

Nursing degree from an accredited school

License:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri

Certifications:

BLS required
