Caregiver –
Chicago, IL
A family in Chicago, IL 60643 is seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver for an elderly family member to assist with evening support, gentle mobility, and daily routines.
Schedule:
Start Date:
ASAP
Days:
Monday through Thursday
Hours:
2:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM (16–20 hours per week)
Family Specifications:
Smoke-free home
Pet-free home
Responsibilities:
- Providing engaging companionship and memory care supervision
- Assisting with gentle indoor mobility and walking laps around the house to help manage arthritis stiffness
- Assisting with routine personal care (applying skin cream)
- Ensuring safety and comfort during late afternoon/evening hours
Requirements:
- Prior senior care experience required
- Experience with dementia care and mobility support
- Must be able to reliably commute
- Strong communication, reliability, and engaging presence
- Preferred: CPR/First Aid certified
Compensation
Compensation:
$20-$23 per hour
