**Position is contingent upon contract award
The Senior Systems Engineer provides senior technical analysis across the Solutions & Integration, Common Services Applications, Combat Control Applications, and Mission Command Applications support areas. You will assess engineering changes, technical evidence, and interfaces and prepare clear recommendations for Government review.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate system designs and hardware and software changes against approved requirements and interfaces.
- Review vendor and System Support Activity specifications, interface documents, ECPs, test products, analyses, network designs, and drawings.
- Prepare technical analyses, briefs, and white papers supporting decisions and alternatives.
- Contribute to design reviews, technical interchange meetings, IPTs, and CCBs; document technical discussions and actions.
- Review network architecture and system safety information and recommend baseline updates and risk mitigation.
- Create, edit, publish, and archive engineering documents and briefs, perform final quality checks, and support assigned ART activities.
Requirements
- Required qualifications
- 12 years of experience performing professional services associated with systems engineering.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Demonstrated experience performing senior sustainment analysis, review provisioning and technical records, and reconcile Government property information.
- Complete required training and hold required certifications for assigned Government information systems.
- Meet applicable background investigation, CAC, network, facility, and duty-specific classified-access requirements.
- Secret Clearance
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Marine Corps capability sustainment, provisioning, logistics assessments, and property accountability using PIEE, GCSS-MC, TFSMS, and related tools.
