Registered Nurse (PRN) - Med/Surg (Pediatrics) - $61.59/hr - Sacramento, CA

Join our per diem pediatric medical-surgical nursing team in Sacramento, California, providing compassionate, age-appropriate care to children and adolescents with a range of acute health needs. This PRN role supports safe, family-centered care on a pediatric med/surg unit. Local pay is $61.59 per hour. Nurses assess patients, monitor and document clinical status, administer treatments and medications as prescribed, coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and communicate clearly with patients and families.

You will follow unit protocols, promote comfort and safety, and help patients and caregivers understand the plan of care. The schedule is per diem; shifts and availability are coordinated with the care team based on unit needs. Applicants should be comfortable caring for pediatric patients in a medical-surgical setting.
