Attentive Care is a licensed home health care agency providing compassionate in-home support for individuals who want to remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Our services include nursing support, personal care, home health aide services, and companion care, with a focus on delivering respectful, dependable care that supports each client's daily needs and overall well-being.
As a PCA or HHA with Attentive Care, you will play an important role in helping clients maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life in their own homes. This role is centered on building trust, supporting everyday routines, and providing thoughtful, person-centered care that helps clients and their families feel supported during every visit.
We proudly provide services throughout New York's Capital District, including Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Columbia, and Saratoga Counties, with opportunities available in communities including but not limited to:

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities and hygiene needs.
- Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and household tasks.
- Offer companionship and emotional support during in-home care visits.
- Assist with errands and transportation-related tasks when needed.
- Maintain reliable, compassionate one-on-one care in clients' homes.
Requirements
- Active New York State PCA or HHA certification.
- Recent experience working under a New York State PCA or HHA certification through a licensed agency within the past 2 years.
- Reliable transportation to reach clients throughout the Capital District, and residence within 25 miles of one of the work locations.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to complete a criminal background check.
- Ability to lift and transfer clients averaging 150 lbs, with or without assistance, on a frequent basis
- Availability for evening, overnight, or weekend visits is a plus.
