Role summary: As the Senior Manager, Finance, you will lead financial planning and analysis efforts, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and risk mitigation. About the team: The Walmart U.S. Grocery Finance team delivers strategic financial planning and analysis in partnership with the merchandise business. This team develops financial models, monitors performance, and supports decision-making through clear communication with cross-functional partners.

They maintain robust risk controls and enhance reporting transparency. Collaborating with senior management, the team aligns business goals with financial objectives to drive continuous improvement. Focused on operational efficiency and compliance, the team fosters a high-performance environment that supports talent development and ensures adherence to company policies and ethical standards.

What you'll do...

What you'll do:

• Prepare and analyze complex financial models to support business planning and expense target recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor business performance and ensure proper financial controls.
• Communicate financial results, forecasts, and variances to senior management with clear presentations and supporting materials.
• Lead multiple business plans and projects by identifying operational needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to achieve objectives.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing, accountable work environment.
• Promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards across financial functions.

• Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling to support business performance and expense management.
• Proven ability to manage complex control structures and mitigate financial risks through effective oversight and process improvements.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, developing, and managing high-performing teams.
• Expertise in communicating financial results, forecasts, and business cases to senior and executive management.
• Proficiency in Profit and Loss (P&L) management and driving execution of business plans aligned with operational priorities.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.

1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.

1 year’s supervisory experience.
